  • Obtain all necessary information needed for Estimators to evaluate and quantify Client’s project (i.e. scope of work, drawings, measurements, cores, pictures, etc).
  • Present the project to the Client in a manner that is appropriate and tailored to the needs/wants of the Client (i.e. Powerpoint, face-to face presentation, email, product samples, etc.).
  • Follow up with Client bids/proposals in a timely manner to answer any questions client may have or discuss alternative options.

  • Assist Sheetmetal Foreman detailing sheet metal
  • Operate a computer sheet metal brake and shears
  • Fabricate, install, and assemble products and systems made from sheet metal.  Measure, cut, and weld sheet metal components according to specifications, blueprints, or directions. Connect/secure sheet metal seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or fasteners.
  • Responsible for assisting in removing existing sheet metal materials before making repairs and installation of new sheet metal materials and components.
  • Assist during equipment and material unloading process. Including carrying tools and materials up the ladder to the work area.
  • Drive work vehicles, equipment, and materials to the worksite.
  • Working as part of a team under the direction of a superintendent, foreman, or manager.
  • Apply an understanding of safety as it applies to the sheet metal component of the roofing trade
  • Clean work area and equipment, set ladders, scaffolds, and hoists in place for taking supplies to roofs
  • Maintain tools and equipment pre and after work
  • Set up safety-related equipment to protect the project site
  • Safely climb a ladder frequently to supply materials.
